Season 4 of Halo Infinite is just around the corner, arriving on June 20, and with it comes the highly anticipated return of the fan-favorite mode, Infection. In a recent post by Alex Wakeford at 343 Industries, the history and exciting features of Infection in Halo Infinite Season 4 were revealed.
Foundation: A Trip Down Memory Lane
Infection mode has a rich history within the Halo franchise. It originated as an unofficial custom game in Halo 2, influenced by popular zombie-themed movies and games of that time.
